Are Greater Cincinnati Home Sales Still Trending Up?

Local Cincinnati home sales continue to trend in the right direction…..

According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati, overall sales volume in 2013 continues to outpace 2012.

Single Family Home Sales Volume 111713

Last month’s report reflected increase in gross sales volume for single family homes in all four counties and according to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati overall sales volume continues to beat last year’s numbers- but the average sale price is softening.

The high ticket sales in each of the counties are, in most cases, ahead of last year which indicates that some of the buyers who had been waiting for a recovery are beginning to spend money….whether the spending effect trickles down to the lower price ranges will be a good indicator of what the winter real estate market.
