West Chester, Ohio is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes north of Cincinnati and about 30-minute drive south of Dayton, Ohio. Located in southern Butler County, the area offers tons of amenities for today’s many lifestyles. The community also boasts some great parks, shopping, entertainment, and many cultural offerings. West Chester is expected to become the second largest community in the region (by population), behind Cincinnati.

And in 2010, the CNN/Money magazine poll ranked West Chester number 32 of the top 100 “Best Places to Live in the USA”. West Chester offers a wide variety of new and used homes as well as condos and apartments for rent.

West Chester has long had bustling economic development to the north along the Tylersville Rd corridor, with extensive shopping and dining opportunities. Now, with the late 1990’s completion of the Union Centre Blvd interchange in southern West Chester, more than a billion dollars in corporate investment has been made in the area. The community also boasts an excellent park system, including Keehner Park and the Voice of America Park. The VOA Park was created on land formerly used by the Voice of America global broadcasting system and includes a museum of cold war history. The township also supports arts and educational opportunities and provides transportation and volunteer services for seniors.

West Chester

The township is governed by three elected trustees and an elected fiscal officer, and it maintains its own police, fire, road and parks departments. The area is served by the Lakota School District which has consistently been rated Excellent or higher by the state of Ohio. The district maintains two high schools, four middle schools, and fourteen early childhood and elementary schools.

Recent additions to the West Chester community include a new Library, several new medical facilities, and an extensive array of both fine and casual dining choices.
