Cincinnati, Ohio

“When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Cincinnati because it’s always twenty years behind the times.” (This quote has been attributed to Mark Twain)

Known as the “Queen City”, Cincinnati sits on the banks of the Ohio River in southwestern Ohio.  And while Cincinnati sometimes lives up to Mark Twain’s quote, the burst of construction and residential units in downtown reflects an up-to-date approach to reviving the inner city areas.

Standing in downtown Cincinnati near Fountain Square and you are very close to several Fortune 500 companies. Krogers, P&G, Macy’s, Fifth Third Corp and  Western Southern all have their headquarters in downtown.

Music Hall, Aronoff Center for the Arts, Cincinnati Art Museum, Taft Museum, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Contemporary Arts Museum as well as numerous other arts and entertainment venues are within the city limits.  Kids of all ages can visit one of the best zoos, Cincinnati Zoological Park and the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.  if professional sports is for you, the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals have their stadiums right downtown on the riverfront.
