2025 Greater Cincinnati Biking Trails

High winds, thunderstorms, and rain have not discouraged local bicycle riders from hitting the biking trails.

It’s important for both cyclists and motorists to know the rules of the road when it comes to sharing the roads.

Ohio Law requires motorists to have at least 3 feet of clearance when passing bicycles on the road.   On busy and narrow roads the 3-foot rule can be hard to follow.  The best approach is to be patient and wait until oncoming traffic clears before passing on rural roads.  City biking and drivers present a whole new set of opportunities.  Both sides need to mind the rules to keep everybody safe.

The local bike trails and paths offer safe(er) places to ride.
