What Generations are Buying and Selling Homes?

The National Association of Realtors researches all aspects of the real estate market.
The report they produced has lots of information, but the one that caught my eye was “Share of Buyers and Sellers by Generation”
The 131-page report is chocked full of details. Highlights below:
Baby boomers are the largest group of home buyers and sellers. The report tags younger baby boomers are 60-69 years old, and older boomers are 70-79 years old. The young boomer is the single largest group of home buyers and sellers.
Gen Xers are next and at the bottom of the list is Gen Zers (probably not ready financially to purchase)
