It’s the best time to schedule yearly maintenance for your furnace/ heat pump.  We’re pretty diligent about twice-a-year check-ups after losing heat when the kids were very young.   If you’re not into staying ahead at least think about once a year preventative maintenance.  And make sure you’re swapping out dirty furnace filters on a regular basis.

Potential sellers should definitely have their HVAC serviced before going on the market.  And if you’re just moving into your new home – try to get routine maintenance done before the colder weather hits.  Maintenance now gives buyers an opportunity to find an HVAC company they can trust.
