First Look at Cincinnati Home Sales for February 2022
Home sales slid along with the snow and ice.
February Property sales were 731, down -48.0% from 1,405 in February of 2021 and -45.7% lower than the 1,346 sales last month. February 2022 sales were at their lowest level compared to February of 2021 and 2020. February YTD sales of 2,077 are running -25.5% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 2,789.
First look at the single-family home sales through the end of February 2022:
According to the National Association of Realtors® the numbers through January 2022. (Always a month behind)
NAR reports: “December 2021 brought 6.18 million in sales, a median sales price of $358,000, and 1.8 months of inventory. The median sales price is up 15.8% year-over-year, and inventory was down 0.1 months from December 2020.”
