Home sales declined 11% again.

January Property sales were 1,228, down -11.3% from 1,384 in January of 2021 and -38.9% lower than the 2,011 sales last month. January 2022 sales were at a mid-level compared to January of 2021 and 2020. January YTD sales of 1,228 are running -11.3% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 1,384.

According to the National Association of Realtors® the numbers through December 2021.  (Always a month behind)

NAR reports:  “December 2021 brought 6.18 million in sales, a median sales price of $358,000, and 1.8 months of inventory. The median sales price is up 15.8% year-over-year, and inventory was down 0.1 months from December 2020.”
