As more homebuyers are priced out of the market, investment property is becoming more popular if you can find the right location. In a recent Rocket Homes study, 83 major metropolitan areas were analyzed to determine the best places to invest in real estate. Cincinnati, Ohio ranked as the 7th best place in the whole U.S. to invest in real estate. Cincinnati’s rate of appreciation over the last year was 13.8%, which is higher than 85% of the country. As a result, a growing number of Cincinnatians are looking to rent in their desired area. With a vacancy rate of 4.8% and a median monthly rent of $1,310, Cincinnati is one of the best places to invest in real estate (see all the best areas) in the United States.
