July home sales slowed as prices climbed.
First look at the single-family home sales through the end of July 2021:
July Property sales were 2,046, down -19.0% from 2,526 in July of 2020 and -19.2% lower than the 2,531 sales last month. July 2021 sales were at their lowest level compared to July of 2020 and 2019. July YTD sales of 13,340 are running 6.3% ahead of last year’s year-to-date sales of 12,553.

June 2021 brought 5.86 million in sales, a median sales price of $363,300, and 2.6 months of inventory. The median sales price is up 23.4% year over year, and inventory is down 1.3 months from June 2020.
