September Home Sales Report for Cincinnati

Final September 2020 single-family home sales for Greater Cincinnati. 

Slightly falling prices plus fewer days on the market make for an interesting fall in the local real estate market.

Sellers are learning the hard way to price competitively or sit on the market for an extended time.  Even though buyers think there are not enough homes for sale -they won’t make offers on overpriced properties.

Sales outpace 2019 again!  Once again September 2020 single-family home sales soared up +20.6% from September 2019.  A repeat of last month, the sales for September 2020 were down -6.5% from August.

Property Sales  

The median sale price rose +18,4% compared to September 2019 and down -3.9% from last month.  The average sale price was up +12.8% from September 2019 and down – 1.9% from last month.

Prices

The Days on Market (DOM) for September was 21 days down – 16.% from last month.  The September DOM was at its lowest level compared with August 2019 and 2018.
