Final Home Sale Numbers for Greater Cincinnati August 2020

August 2020 single-family home sales in Cincinnati are easing into fall.

  Can’t beat the numbers.  Once again August 2020 home sales broke the record for the most home sales of August 2018 and 2019.   Closings in August were up +8.8% compared to August 2019.  However, sales were down -3.0% from last month.

CABR Numbers

Property Sales  

The median sale price rose +20.1% compared to August 2019 and up +1.7% from last month.  The average sale price was up +14.9% from August 2019 and down – 2.2% from last month.

Prices

The Days on Market (DOM) for August was 25 days down – 13.9% from last month.  The August DOM was at its lowest level compared with August 2019 and 2018.
