The first peek at Cincinnati single-family home sales during May.

May single-family home sales were 1,516, down -30.0% from 2,368 in May of 2019 and – 10.2% lower than .  Again, May 2020 sales were at their lowest level compared to May of 2019 and 2018.

May YTD sales of 7,586 are running -12.3%  behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 8,649.

The final official numbers from the MLS arrive in the third week of June.

Still the story:  Deals are handled online as much as possible.  Open Houses – with all the safety guidelines in place are once again part of the buying and selling process.  Consumers can expect another month of poor numbers until the sales process begins to catch up with demand.
