It seems a lot of properties appear as pending in the CincyMLS because the seller accepted an offer but the house goes back on the market a short time later. Things happen and it isn’t always about problems with the house. Sometimes the buyers change their minds or discovered the seller wasn’t willing to renegotiate large dollar amounts for minor repairs.
Buyers often compete for houses and make decisions because of bidding wars. After losing out on 1 or 2 bids it’s easy to get swept up in the rush to buy. However, sometimes after buyers have time to think about their purchase or look closely at the property, buyer’s remorse sets in.
Potential buyers need to understand some offers fall apart because of inspection issues. And sometimes the deal fails because of buyer’s remorse or other issues.
