Real estate report card for the Lakota School District.

The Lakota School District crosses over township boundaries educating students in both West Chester and Liberty Township Ohio. The school district is an interesting mix of existing neighborhoods and new construction. 

The school buildings are scattered throughout the district and as the area gets more residents- road construction is struggling to keep pace with demand.

The latest data from the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati is for homes and condos listed and sold through the CincyMLS.   The information below compares the first 2 months of 2018  versus 2019. 

In West Chester, the average sale price for single-family homes in during the first 2 months of 2018  was $276,189 and in 2019 $302,208  a +8% increase.  West Chester’s condos sold for an average of $109,567 in 2018 and $144,542  in 2019 a +24% increase.

Single-family homes in Liberty Township had an average sale price of $332,055 through February 2018 and in 2019 $308,834 +18%.

The average sale price of condos in Liberty Township through February 2018 $320,985 vs $320,400 in 2019- +3.5% increase

What does this mean?

Real Estate sales in the Lakota School District kept pace in the cold weather. Properties that have been up for sale for an extended period of time need to lower their prices.  Several areas of new construction continue to appear wherever there is enough property to put in streets and homes.
