Cincinnati Home Sale Update

Greater Cincinnati home sale update for August 2018. 

Market Quest Data for Cincinnati real estate
August home sales were down -1.0% compared to August of 2017.  However, sales were up +3.3% from the previous month (July 2018).  

Comparing the average sale price for single-family homes during the first 8 months of 2017 ($216,319 ) to 2018 ($234,999) our area experienced an increase of +4.8%.  The average sale price dropped -3.5% from July 2018.

Good news for sellers the average sale price in all the counties continues to increase.

Sales continue but the market is sending mixed signals on pricing.  The average Days on Market (DoM) is at a record low down -6.3% from last month.  

The average DoM for this August was 30.  Listings on the market for months may need to reevaluate marketing and pricing strategies.
