Where did the month of August go?  

Condo prices and sales by neighborhood throughout greater Cincinnati ended August with slightly lower average sale prices.  Listing prices continue to climb but inventory is still shrinking.  570 condos were for sale in August 2107 compared to 457 in August 2018.  A -20% decline.

In some neighborhoods, buyers are paying a premium to get their foot in the door.  Bidding wars and a shortage of new listings adds to higher prices and frustrated buyers.  The average sale price is down -3% from the same timeframe in 2017.  The average condos ale price for the first 8 months of 2018 was $161,648 versus $165,332 for 2107.
