July home sales for Greater Cincinnati slowing down.

Home sales continue to outpace the number of new listings which continues to drive up sale prices in some areas. July property sales were up +1.7% compared to July 2017.  Cincinnati sellers experienced a -12.4% from June of 2018.

Comparing the average sale price for single-family homes during the first 7 months of 2017 ($206,866) to 2018 ($222,184) our area experienced an increase of +6.9%.

Still suffering from fewer and fewer new listings of single-family homes.  Down nearly -6.4% compared to June 2018.

Good news for sellers the average sale price in all the counties continues to increase.

Sales continue but the market is sending off signals of slowing down.  The slowdown could be due to lack of homes for sale, vacations or slightly higher interest rates.
