The Trust for Public Land, based in San Francisco released its first dog park ranking report covering 100 of the largest cities. The report ranked cities with the most dog parks relative to the population.
It seems dog parks is the “latest hot amenity” in the 100 largest U.S. cities’ park systems. And that doesn’t even begin to take into account the number of communities in the greater Cincinnati area offering “bark parks” as an attraction to people looking to build or move. Consider that approximately 48% of American households own dogs. When those potential buyers are looking fenced yards and easy access to dog parks factor into the equation.
Let’s be honest, most owners consider their dog as a “member” of the family. Living in a city or community that caters to dog owners is a smart marketing strategy.
