How Cold Can Cincinnati Go?

Sitting at my computer wondering just how cold Cincinnati can go this winter?

Not too surprising with the cold blast hitting greater Cincinnati makes us wish for warmer weather.  But according to historical weather records, it can get a lot colder here.

On January 18, 1977, the temperature was -25 degrees (yup 25 below ).  It was the year the Ohio River froze.  However, don’t despair there’s always the chance we repeat 1993 when it hit 75 degrees on January 21st.  And for the snow lovers, the highest one-day January snowfall hit on 7th in 1996 dumping 11.6 inches in a day.

Today’s words of wisdom “bundle up” only 151 days until the official start of summer.
