Statistics show some people are successful at marketing and selling their property.  However, the majority of today’s sellers still use a Realtor® to handle the listing and sale.  According to the National Association of Realtors latest report, about 89% of sellers use an agent to sell.  Sellers who chose the For-Sale-By-Owner path 50% knew the buyer in advance of selling.  The average age for FSBO seller is 59 which is interesting when you consider the assumption that younger buyers and sellers are more technically savvy.
