Greater Cincinnati home sales up 15% compared to last April.

According to the numbers released by the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors the number of homes sold in April 2,337 compared to 2,032 in April 2015 is a 15% for April and 9.3% increase over the first 4 months of 2015.

Adding to the good news is the average sale price is also increasing!

The average sale price for a home climbed from $171,562 (April-2015) to $186,295 this April.  The bad news continues to be the number of homes for sale is down -22.4% from a year ago.  Good news for sellers and bad news for buyers waiting for a better deal.
