A beautiful Saturday afternoon spent wandering along the Ohio River on the Kentucky side and I spot one of the Roebling Murals showing downtown Covington in 1914.
This and several other murals were dedicated in 2002 and add beauty and a historical view of life in Covington near the John Roebling Bridge. The murals are painted on the flood walls and are easy to miss if you don’t find the right access point from Covington. And like so many neat things in our area -you can be so busy trying to take in the Cincinnati skyline that you forget to turn around and take in all the beauty surrounding you.
When you head downtown to enjoy the next sunny day take in the sights don’t forget to turn around to see the neat things on both sides of the river.
