The Cincinnati condo market update comparing January through August sales in 2014 to 2105 is a split decision with 2 counties ahead of last year and 2 counties losing ground. According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati:

The year-to-date sales sea-saw up and down. The number of condos sold in Butler and Clermont increased but the sales prices went down, Hamilton County lost traction in sales and prices and Warren County was a winner with higher numbers of sales and prices.

Real estate activity slacked off toward the end of August when many of the school districts starting classes during the month.  The chart below shows the list price versus sale price this August versus last August is more realistic because listing prices have dropped.  Time to take a snapshot of your competition before bad weather and the likelihood of higher interest rates slows down potential buyers from writing contracts. Condo sales in Cincinnati
