Liberty Township home sales outpace area sales.

Single family home sales in Liberty Township increased in gross dollar volume as well as the total number of homes sold -comparing 2015 to the same timeframe in 2014.  Acording to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati the number of homes sold (01/01/14-05/15/14 vs. 01/01/15-05/15/15) increased by 20%.

The total number of sales for existing homes incrreased by 14% and new construction by 46%.  Driving around Liberty Township and you can see lots of new construction as well as signs promoting new areas which will begin construction in the near future.  The explosion is homes sales is massive compared to home sales in Cincy MLS where growth for all sales reached 5%, resales 5% and new construction 4%.

How long can the “explosion” last is a good question.  As long as interest rates remain reasonable and the lack of homes for sale in the surrounding areas continues- so will the growth.  New commercial developments in Liberty Township and nearby West Chester catch buyer’s attention during the house hunting process.  Even though the area is 21-25 miles from downtown Cicninnati- local ammenities are taking up the slack.
