Open houses are busy, showings are up and mortgage interest rates are low- what’s not to like about seasonal changes. The number of single family homes for sale in October of 2013- 9185 and 1345 condos compared to today’s much lower number of properties for sale is a reason why the local Cincinnati real estate market continues to burst wide open because buyers are hoping more homes pop up on the market and then maybe they’ll get off the fence. According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati potential buyers have 8708 single family homes and 1220 condos – a significant decrease of single family homes and very slight drop in the number of condos listed since the last zip code report.
The single family home median list price is up in 4 or the 6 zip codes and half of the condo market covered in this report.
