Up and Down Springfield Pike

Up and Down Springfield Pike

There are 2 communities linked by Springfield Pike with similar “housing stock”.  Going north from Cincinnati the first community is Wyoming and after a short drive up “The Pike” you would find The Village of Glendale.

Wyoming Ohio

Both locations have a number of older homes and areas where newer (15-30 years old) and new construction continues anywhere with enough land to build a single home or a small street.  Driving through either neighborhood  visitors can always find the local bakery, deli and construction trucks remodeling this and that.  Wyoming is larger and houses close to 9000 residents while Village of Glendale boasts approximately 2200 residents.  The real estate market in both communities has been active this year.

Both areas have an abundant supply of homes for sale and based on the absorption rate for the last 6 months, Wyoming currently has an 11 month supply homes for sale and Glendale has a 10.7 month supply.  All this means is that sellers need to be aware of competition and price accordingly.  Older homes are neat and offer a variety of challenges to potential buyers.  Luckily both communities continue to attract buyers of all ages and it’s fun to watch the transformations as homes are updated and remodeled.
