The number of new listings hitting the market remains low as we struggle to find housing options for buyers in all price ranges. Since 1/1/14 buyers closed deals on 2756 single family homes with an average sale price of $157,444. However today with the average list price of $220,873- large numbers of potential buyers not having many properties available in their price range. According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati potential buyers have 7430 single family homes and 1282 condos – 200 more single family homes while holding steady with almost the number of condos listed since the last zip code report.
March showers lead to April showers which should lead to…hopefully more listings of homes and condos sprouting up soon. Anxious buyers are out shopping weekend open houses and the number of showing appointments continues to increase each week.
