According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati potential buyers have 7223 single family homes and 1221 condos – another drop in the number of single family homes while holding steady with the number of condos listed since the last zip code report.
Since February 11th approximately 571 single family homes and condos have moved into the “pending” status- sold but not closed. An unofficial count of the number that went under contract in 2 weeks or less is about 23%. Sellers who hit the market’s sweet spot” when they list have 1 in 4 chance of selling quickly in today’s local Cincinnati real estate market. Stories about multiple offers are far more common now than they have been in recent years- so buyers need to be aware that if you find your dream home-don’t wait too long before making an offer.
