Sunnier days may be ahead for the greater Cincinnati condo market- but January sales have been good in some markets and slow in others.

Hamilton and Warren Counties are leading the way with closings when comparing closed dollar volume for the condo sales in January.  Weather and the amount of condos for sale did affect the market-but it’s clear buyers are leaning toward Hamilton and Warren counties for their condo shopping.

The average sales price for condos in Butler and Clermont counties is lower this January however, the number of condos sold/closed remains steady compared to last year.

Market watchers will have to wait to validate the local real estate recovery based the numbers coming out in January which compare all of 2013 to the previous year(s). All in all – we might not be setting records- but slow and steady is probably the better way to win the race.
