According the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors the numbers for 2013 were 20.8 % higher than 2012 and according to the Cincinnati Business Courier the overall volume of sales higher than any year since 2008.
According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati potential buyers have 7842 single family homes and 1225 condos – a slightly higher number then the last report.
Repeat or rerun of the news…the weather changes continue to impact buyer activity. People are out house hunting- but seeing fewer homes before returning to warmer places inside their own heated places. Looking at property with no heat at all takes a toll on both the buyers and their agents. If you have a vacant property and you can afford even minimal heat-turn it on until the polar vortex passes…buyers are only human and standing in an freezer is not conducive to writing purchase contracts.
