Too many flowers and not enough buyers equals a bad season for nursery sales- too few homes and disenchanted buyers equals a slow season when it comes to homes for sale in Cincinnati.
And the lack of homes and condos for buyers to see and hopefully buy equates to lower median list prices. It doesn’t make sense but if the local real estate market has always reacted to shrinking inventory with shrinking buyer interest. Data pulled from the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati shows that potential buyers have 8099– single family homes and 1295 – another drop in the number of single family homes and condos listed for sale since the last township report.
The median list prices in the townships continues to bounce up and down as inventory sells or sellers take their property off the market for the holidays. I know people are tired of hearing it but ….”the lack of fresh housing inventory continues to impact the market”…. so even though the holidays are here -serious buyers are out house hunting and writing contracts right now.
