As summer gives way to autumn and autumn to winter, LEFWM will be celebrating its Summer Into Winter Market Transition Event with special events, contests, cooking demonstrations, tastings, and much more, beginning during its regular Market on Friday Oct. 26th, 3pm-7 pm at Harvest Home Park 3961 North Bend Road in Cheviot, 45211.

Learn what you can expect at Winter Market.

• Mohr Animal Acres will bring several farm animals for the kids to check out.
• Winter Market Scavenger Hunt.
• Halloween Costume Contest.
• Environmentally conscious crafts–Great holiday gifts!
• Halloween treats for kids.
• Trick or Treating for grown ups.
• Register for the Winter Market Monthly prize drawing. The more you visit Market and the more new shoppers you bring, the more chances you get to win the monthly prize. The first drawing will be during the Nov. 30th Market.
• Musicians will be performing.

During the November Markets (Nov. 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 30th), LEWFM will have many special guests and exciting events. November 2nd will be the beginning of Winter Market at Cheviot United Methodist Church, 3820 Westwood Northern Blvd. Cheviot, 45211)

At the Winter Market you can expect:

• Market vendors will offer cooking demonstrations using delicious Market food that will be available during Winter Market.
• There will be various vendors sharing information on how we can all Eat Well Seasonally and Live Sustainably.
• Environmentally conscious crafts – Great for holiday gifts!
• Register for the Winter Market Monthly prize drawing. The more you visit Market and the more new shoppers you bring, the more chances you get to win the monthly prize. The first drawing will be during the Nov. 30th Market.
• Kids get a copy of “The Munch Crunch Bunch” book by Jan Wolterman at Kids & Krafts booth.
• Musicians will be performing.

Every Friday, this West Side community converges on Harvest Home Park for the Summer Market and Cheviot United Methodist Church for the Winter Market to celebrate a simple miracle: farmers coming together to share a harvest that’s feeding local families. The result? More viable regional economies; increased access to fresh, nutritious food; and stronger social networks that help keep communities healthy.

  • Lettuce Eat Well Farmers’ Market is a year-round Farmers’ Market on Cincinnati’s West Side and is held Friday afternoons 3:00-7:00. May through October location is on the grounds of Harvest Home Park,3961 North Bend Road in Cheviot, 45211(less than 2 mi south of I-74 on the right).
