Ohio residents are moving out-of-state in 2017. Many people track the migration of birds and animals but for decades Atlas has tracked moving migration patterns. According to the latest survey by Atlas Van Lines, Americans are on the move.  And Ohio is one of several states with "medium outbound" traffic compared to states like Tennesse, Nevada, Idaho and Washington State with a high number of people moving into their states. The 2017 year-end Cincinnati condo report.  The average sale price is up in all 4 counties.  The average sale price for condos in greater Cincinnati is $165,002  compared to $151,319  during the same time frame in 2016. A +8.% increase. According to the Cincinnati Multiple Listing Service has 467 condos listed for sale. 2017 home sales in greater Cincinnati continues to climb. 2017 finished on a high note with higher sales volume for single-family home sales in all four counties.  2017 ended with a current average sale price for single-family homes in greater Cincinnati of $207,185. compared to 2016's $196,398.  A 5.% increase.  The median sale price in 2017 was $167,000 vs $157,500 in 2016.  A 6% increase. Walkable communities wanted should be posted in neighborhoods everywhere. A 2017 National Community and Transportation Preference Survey verified that millennials (18-34 age group)  prefer walking to driving by 12%.  And millennials also prefer living in attached housing located within walking distance of shops and restaurants.  Key points are short commutes and access to good public transportation.  Millenials aren't the only ones looking for walkability — it turns out baby boomers (51-69 age group) want walkability in their neighborhoods as well.   Retired homeowners also want easy access...
