The Relativity of Cincinnati Home Prices

According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati during the peak year of 2005 the average sale price for a single family home in:

  • Butler County  $176,017
  • Clermont County $192,525
  • Hamilton County $182,894
  • Warren County $249,936

A chart of average sale prices since 2003 indicates the local Cincinnati housing market is headed in the right direction, however many homeowners are still holding properties with lower values than the highs of 2005.

The old real estate adage -location, location, location still has impact on local sale prices.  Each county shows improvement but comparing the average sale price through the end of July 2013 to the list above- dreams of selling for a huge profit may be a little premature.  So far this year the average sale price:

  • Hamilton County $180,942
  • Warren County $220,132
