Measuring buyer traffic reflects a significant increase in Open Houses and Agent showings. Traffic doesn’t guarantee offers- but the increase may help spur interest of other buyers in the marketplace. Nothing sparks buyer motivation more than finding out a property they are thinking about is having an open house or when they drive by- they see other buyers wandering around the property.
According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati potential buyers have 8162 single family homes and 1363 condos to buy-a very tiny increase from 2 weeks ago. Also compared to last report, lots of increases in the median list prices for many of the zip codes.
Open house and normal buyer activity continues to escalate. Offers are coming in and if have had a property on the market since the fall -it may be time to sit down and map out a new strategy with your Realtor.
