The march of students has begun in greater Cincinnati and the age old question ….”is this a good school district?” is on the lips of many of today’s buyers
There are lots of rules and guidelines for Realtors(c) and on the top of the list is that we do not discuss school districts. The guideline are good for a few reasons:
- No way I could stay informed about all the schools in greater Cincinnati and with internet access- each district keeps their information updated for your review.
- My choice of schools may not meet your expectations or requirements.
- I’m a Realtor(c) not a schooling specialist.
However there are lots of places to look for information about public and private schools within the greater Cincinnati area. Listings for public schools and private schools are available in a variety of places. Also the Ohio Department of Education posts “report cards” for all of the State’s schools online. New sites are appearing all the time like “Great Schools”. A lot of these sites seem to aggregate information – so you may want to begin your search on the actual school district sites.
In the past few years there have been an increasing number of people inquiring about the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State. For those of us who have enjoyed a meal at the Institute- the interest is no surprise. UC, Mt. St Joe and Xavier are not the only higher education institutions drawing students to Cincinnati.
Real estate buyers with questions about schools, neighborhood demographics and crime stats can expect to be directed to a variety of web sites or provided with contact phone numbers.
Hope you find the information helpful and if you are ready to begin house hunting in greater Cincinnati- call now or subscribe to stay afloat in today’s real estate market.
