Last week buyers and sellers dealing with real estate in greater Cincinnati tried to remain cool!

The high temperatures combined with the 4th of July holiday and events going on downtown slowed some buyers down-although last Sunday’s Open Houses were “normal busy” for this time of year.  The greater Cincinnati area suffers from the same ailment as many other cities which is a lack of fresh inventory coming onto the market. The Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati has 10335 single family homes and 1690 condos listed for sale.  The numbers may sound high but the current inventory count is way down.  So if you are considering putting your house on the market-now may be a good time.  Looking at key zip codes through out greater Cincinnati average list prices have increased in a few areas.
