Will Your Condo Sell in Cincinnati?
World Choir Games Events Schedule
According the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati, condo sales volume for the first 6 months of 2012 vs 2011 was a win for Hamilton and Warren Counties and not so good for Butler and Clermont Counties. At least in Butler County the average sales price did increase by two thousand dollars and in Clermont County the total number of condos sold was exactly the same in 2012 as 2011. The chart below also shows that the sale prices in both Hamilton and Warren Counties really didn’t appreciate either- but number of units sold increased.
| 2011 | 2012 | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| # Units | Avg Sales Price | # Units | Avg Sales Price | |
| Butler | 182 | $83,143 | 149 | $85,657 |
| Clermont | 95 | $102,862 | 95 | $96,762 |
| Hamilton | 437 | $137,397 | 484 | $137,444 |
| Warren | 133 | $132,161 | 155 | $133,002 |
The ups and downs in the sales volumes and average sale prices is almost the same as the last month’s graphs. Continuing hot weather, poor jobs reports and the unsteadiness of financial markets, both here and abroad, will impact sales in the coming months. The inventory of available condos continues to decrease and lack of supply may help sellers struggling with finding a buyer.
