What’s Going On in Real Estate in West Chester, Beckett Ridge and Liberty Township?

During September 53 homes and 14 condos closed in West Chester, 3 homes and zero condos in Beckett Ridge and 45 homes and zero condos in Liberty Township. Closings were up in all the areas-but Liberty Township’s single family homes. The closings dipped since last month. In West Chester list prices decreased by a few thousand dollars while sales prices increased by the same amount. Beckett Ridge increased both list and sale prices for single family homes and Liberty Township increased sales prices by a few thousand dollars.

Remember buyers using the first time home buyer tax credit must close on a property by November 30th. Realistically this is the last week anybody could write a purchase contract to meet the deadline- so price accordingly.
