September Real Estate Closings for Metropolitan Cincnnati

Data from the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati the closing sales volume for single family homes (2008 vs 2009) is down.
As we near the end First Time Home Buyer tax credit October sales should look robust as people scramble to beat the deadline. A lot of buyers are expecting lawmakers to extend or increase the credit- I hope they aren’t disappointed. Mortgage rates remain very low and housing prices are still below previous years, eventually buyers will realize the time to buy is now.
