August figures indicated 31 single family homes and 13 condominiums closed. This is a slight drop from July, 2009. Pending sales prices decreased for both condos and single family homes- interesting the sold prices are pretty much the same as they were in July.
Homearama opens in Mason on September 12th and this will brings a lot of traffic up to Mason- and potentially some new buyers into the Mason market.
Mortgage rates remain low and the First Time Buyer Tax Credit is pushing some last minute shoppers into the housing market. As it has in the past- pricing is critical.
Need to start looking at homes right now- call or email now-before the incentives run out.
