What Do Puppy Dogs and Real Estate Have in Common?

More than you think…..
Meet Grover
the soon to be “grand dog” joining the family Easter weekend. My daughter and son-in-law decided it was time to add a puppy. And while he is not as expensive as the condo purchased a few years ago, Grover has elicited almost as many calls (and more pictures) than most real estate transactions.
What do puppies and real estate have in common? How about looking at numerous shelters and breeders before making a decision (house hunting and yes you can check dogs and breeders out on the internet too), visiting and playing with the puppy (second showings), making an appointment with a reputable veterinarian to ensure a healthy dog (whole house inspection) and finally purchasing medical insurance to cover Grover ( Home Warranty Program).
Providing they take good care of Grover, he’ll keep up his end of the contract by providing unconditional love and entertainment.
Granted buyers of real estate do not need to “train” their purchase. but in many respects homes are a lot like puppies. Accidents do happen (ie: water heaters and furnaces do break down) and being prepared for the long haul is the best approach for major purchases.
If you need help to decide if the time is right to purchase your next property call or email.
