3 New Year’s Resolutions for Real Estate

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times….” .

The quote from “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens says it all.  2008 certainly offered real estate buyers and sellers in West Chester, Cincinnati and Fairfield a myriad of issues and opportunities.

2009 is already starting off on better real estate footing.

  1. Historically low low interest rates
  2. Tons of inventory
  3. Fence sitting buyers are starting to move into the market

My real estate resolutions for 2009 are:

  1. Be happy- our real estate market has never been as bad as the ones in southeast Michigan, Las Vegas, Phoenix or other places.
  2. Be proactive- make sure my clients know, in real time, the current real estate market conditions.  No overpriced listings sitting on the market for aeons
  3. Learn something new- when we purchased our home, we got a deal -14% interest rate adjustable mortgage.  There are always ways to cope in any real estate market and I will help you through the process.
