Is There a Holiday Spirit for Cincinnati Real Estate?
December 3rd, 2008 categories: Sales, West Chester Ohio

We were in southeast Michigan for Thanksgiving and the state of their economy (dismal) and real estate market (worse than dismal) makes the greater Cincinnati housing market look ….jubilant.
Our economy is stable and in the local real estate market, while not setting any records, home/condos are selling.
According to the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati (MLS) 819 homes/condos went pending (under contract but not yet closed) for the month of November. 449 were in Hamilton County, 185 in Butler County, 102 in Warren County and 83 in Clermont County.
The list prices of the properties ranged from $2,000 to $2,850,000.
The next time you drive by a “For Sale” sign and wonder if it is the right house for you- just remember the 819 buyers who were in the mood to liven up their holidays with real estate.
